Reinventing the wheel to run myself over?

This album really caught me off guard, conceptually and musically. A musical using guest spots from many artists as characters in a play to tell a story? That's a first, especially from a record label that helps metro station. I'm still absorbing the album, but this 2008 treasure deserves a review. Good Job, Forgive Durden.

Kiss is making a new album, and according to 411mania.com, Paul Stanley can be quoted as saying that "It's going to be very much a vintage, classic, '70s KISS album without much regard to what's happened since then; it's back to the roots." Well considering that the music scene has changed very much since their time, can they succeed? Short answer: probably not. Guns and Roses failed, so what gives Kiss a better chance? The fact Gene has a garbage reality show where he acts horribly? No one should waste their money on crappy nostalgia at this level.

The Dark Knight is being re-released on January 23'rd, and here's a quote from the distribution president. "The Dark Knight is a crowning achievement in every sense of the word. We wanted to provide one more opportunity for moviegoers to experience it on the big screen as it was meant to be seen."

Translation: WE WANT ALL YOUR MONEYS NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM. That and they really want to beat that bitch Titanic. Seriously, does it matter that much? I hope Heath Ledger got a Diamond encrusted tombstone with all this cash or he got robbed. Another note, Joker's forehead looks AMAZING on blu-ray, it's really the benchmark for comparing all future films to see if they stack up against pixel perfect forehead imaging.

Wasted saturdays are AWESOME.
